Well, well, well. University of Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh began trending on Twitter on Tuesday after it was announced that U-M had canceled their highly-anticipated showdown with rivals Ohio State this weekend due to a rise in COVID-19 cases among the Wolverines. (Because of COVID-19, injuries, and contact tracing, Michigan was going to be without 45 players. Ouch.) While some Twitter users called Harbaugh's game cancellation a career-saving move and a creative way to avoid an ass beating by Ohio State because, yeah, that's a thing, others, who may or may not be Ohio fans (OK — they absolutely are) have reverted to name-calling. Our personal favorite? “Jim Harbaugh is a baby back bitch.” We're not 100% sure what that means but if Twitter has shown us anything it's that Big Ten football is serious business... and seriously funny. But not the COVID-19 part, because that's sad and sucks. Go Blue!
