Hundreds of protesters, some carrying guns, flouted social-distancing measures on Thursday at the "Judgement Day" rally (their spelling, not ours) at the Capitol in Lansing, calling for Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to lift her stay-at-home order. The protest was peaceful, apart from a fistfight that broke out over a plastic doll strung to a noose. Whitmer said she may lift more restrictions by the end of the month as coronavirus cases continue to decline in Michigan.
