5/25 - Sheila Landis Trio
Song stylist Sheila Landis has been performing her soulful interpretations of jazz and blues since 1973, teaming up with 7-string guitarist Rick Matle in 1991. Landis and Matle have an expansive repertoire, exploring ballads, jazz standards, swing, bebop, blues, Brazilian and Afro-Cuban rhythms along with popular funk and R&B hits, all firmly anchored by the verve, hot chops and enthusiastic perfectionism of drummer Dave Taylor. Notable Landis/Matle CDs include "Colors of Brazil", "Blues in the Night" and their most recent duo release "Beautiful Things".

6/1 - The Scrappers
The Scrappers are a 4-piece rock 'n' roll band with harmonies, pedal steel and real songwriting. If The Beatles drank with Hank, this is what may have resulted. If you stroll through Strawberry Fields under the Nashville Skyline, The Scrappers would be the wind breathing through the trees. These four Detroiters may have spent an endless summer in Laurel Canyon with Gram, but it's not all Nudie Suits and cowboy hats. The dock of the bay they're sitting on looks out over Cripple Creek, creating another ripple in their torn and frayed jeans.

6/8 - Ryan Dillaha & The Miracle Men
Ryan Dillaha and The Miracle Men are a working class rock and roll band that was formed in 2012 in Detroit Michigan. They immediately began making a name for themselves in the local music scene and gained a well deserved reputation for rollicking, whiskey-fueled performances. Critical praise for Dillaha's songwriting has noted his careful word play and catchy hooks. The band's members have been in some of the most respected and seminal bands of the Michigan music scene. They have toured all over the mid-western United States and opened for artists such as The Bottle Rockets, Justin Townes Earle, Lydia Loveless, JD Wilkes and The Dirt Daubers, Whitey Morgan, Mountain Heart, The Banditos, and Cale Tyson, while they continue to fill local venues. Their debut album entitled "Miracles in Mono" was released in 2015.

6/15 - Billy Brandt & The Sugarees
Billy Brandt and the Sugarees is the latest in Billy Brandt’s Americana projects. Billy is the winner of two Detroit Music Awards for Best Americana Recording and the Sugarees are a jam band, a country band and a rock band all rolled into one. The lineup includes Detroit’s finest in John Holkeboer (the Sequins, Ryan Dillaha, Honky Tonk Tuesdays and Sundays) on Bass, Chris Degnore (the Blackdrops, Jill Jack) on guitar, and John Porter (The Blackdrops and many others) on Drums.

6/22 - Alison Lewis and String of Ponies wsg/Matt Dmits
Alison Lewis and String of Ponies perform the songs of Alison Lewis and the members of her band, String Of Ponies, including Matt Dmits. The Ponies come and go, and come back again, which keeps the music fresh and always evolving. The one thing that remains constant is Alison. She will show up and sing her heart out every time.

6/29 - John Holk & The Sequins
John Holk & the Sequins were formed to be the world’s first psychedelic honky tonk band. Drawing equal inspiration from Hank Williams and Revolver-era Beatles, the Sequins helped galvanize a burgeoning Detroit honky tonk scene as hosts of the legendary “Honky Tonk Tuesday” series at Club Bart in Ferndale, MI from 2008 to 2011. Their self-released 2010 CD "If You See Her" (Hole-Key) was described as "The twang-pop record of 2010" by absolutepowerpop.com, and earned a Detroit Music Awards nomination for Best Country Album. Comprising some of the area’s finest working musicians, John Holk & The Sequins released their second CD, “Where You Going” in October 2016, which was described by powerpoaholic.com as "consistently excellent". John Holk & the Sequins are known for putting on great shows wherever they roam and are in demand as a concert, night club or private party band. The band’s stripped-down alter-ego, John Holk & the Kinfolk, play a rootsy blend of bluegrass, old time honky tonk country western and murder ballads.

7/6 - Pewter Cub

7/13 - Escaping Pavement
Hailed as "One of the most dynamic Americana groups out of Detroit, Michigan" Escaping Pavement masterfully blends and blurs the lines of Bluegrass, Folk, and Americana. Their unique joint frontperson arrangement, with Emily Burns and Aaron Markovitz sharing equally in singing, songwriting, and guitar playing allow for astounding, harmony-driven, musical interplay that has earned them slots on bills with the likes of Justin Townes Earle, Mountain Heart, and Joan Osborne. 7/20 - Anthony Retka’s Big Parade
Anthony Retka's Big Parade is a five-piece pop/rock band made up of Detroit-born singer/songwriter & frontman, Anthony Retka, Kelly Tuscherer on backup vocals, Nate Brent on guitar, Alex Wildner on bass, and Carson Morton on drums. Big Parade has been playing around the Detroit-area since 2014 and has two albums under its belt, including Anthony's most recent, direct, and expressive work to date, “Fields & Fortresses”

7/27 - Allye Gaeitto
Allye Gaietto is a singer-songwriter based in Detroit, MI. Her songs range from sparse and simple to intricate and complex; genre-wise, it’s best described as sometimes eccentric, always thoughtful jazz-influenced pop. Her lyrics are wrought with self-aware fragility, brought to life by a voice always caught halfway between a shout and a whisper.

8/3 - Unlimited Head
Harkening back to a time of groovy big riffs, primal rhythms and a whiff of 1970’s free form playing; with a handful of tracks that veer between the riff-infused early Zeppelin days, the salsa jazz rock of Santana’s Abraxis era and the stoned wisdom of desert rock bands, Unlimited Head aim to please, tease and bring your quadrophonic speakers to their knees... 8/10 - Big Will & the 360 Band
Detroit music veteran William (Big Will) Elijah has assembled the best musicians the city of Detroit has to offer. The BW360° band is a tremendously tight 6 piece fun filled musical unit that takes crowds on a stylish musical ride. Expect a tapestry of sounds that range from Jazz, Motown and Current unique stylized hit cover songs.

8/17 - Crashing Cairo
An anthemic indie-rock band based in metro Detroit, Crashing Cairo is like a well-blended Radiohead, U2 and Coldplay smoothie; ultra tasty, yet unique with a style and sound that is all their own. The band is amidst a flurry of single releases that began in 2016 and will continue through this year. Songs picked up by college radio stations around the country were produced by Peter Katis (Interpol, The National, Guster) and Tim Palmer (David Bowie, U2, Pearl Jam). 8/24 - RJ Spangler/TBone Paxton Quartet
Lifelong buddies RJ & Tbone have backed many touring New Orleans singers including Johnny Adams & Earl King. So the music of NOLA is always prominent in their performances as is the Great American Songbook: Johnny Mercer, Hoagy Carmichael, Duke Ellington & Fats Waller. Tbone is currently nominated for Outstanding Jazz Vocalist at the Detroit Music Awards.

8/31 - The Scrappers
The Scrappers are back for another round at the Garden Party.

9/7 - Brunswick Brawlers
The Brunswick Brawlers is a Detroit based group of musicians who came together to play the music they love and admire. They play a mix of early American popular music including jump blues, Western swing, early rock n roll and rhythm and blues. They can be found performing throughout the city of Detroit.
