Bravo’s Real Housewife visits Detroit Recovery Project

Phaedra Parks, one of the most notable and controversial cast members of Bravo’s hit reality show, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, visited Detroit to speak at the Women’s Conference 2016 presented by Detroit Recovery Project. The Detroit Recovery Project, which rolled out on Feb. 27., is a private non-profit  corporation dedicated to supporting individuals recovering from drug, alcohol, and gambling addictions. At the event, Parks spoke on how she recovered from a toxic relationship while encouraging the audience of women to win the battle against their addictions. Other than Parks, six panelists, including Sabrina Peterson of Glam University, spoke at the event. The entire conference was centered around finding passion and enlightenment on the journey to sobriety. by Taylor Bembery
