Water balloons, canoes with wheels, wrestling, and a Rod Stewart impersonator were all attractions at the 40th annual Hamtramck Labor Day Festival, which invited visitors to stroll the sprawling event. For four decades, Hamtramck which is known as "the world in two square miles" has celebrated the working class with a kick-ass blowout along the main drag of Joseph Campau that has a little bit of everything: it's part music fest, part foodie destination, and, at the end of the day, a wet and wild party (no, really).
