A Royal Oak mid-century modern gem is for sale, and it was designed by a Corvette designer

Detroit loves cars, it's a trait Detroiters are born with.

What if the sleek concept of one of the Motor City's most infamous car designs was turned into a home?

That's what happened  at 2525 Marais Ave. with this nearly 4,000 square foot mid-century modern home in Royal Oak.

Designed by Nolan "Jack" Didion, a Chevrolet Corvette designer, the home is one to marvel at.

Its design features two separate buildings connected by an outdoor courtyard, while the tall windows in both buildings brings in the natural light and nearly 360 view of the courtyard.

The wood-paneled-wrapped-home has three bedrooms and three bathrooms and also includes a Malm fireplace, atrium roof, and lily pad pond.

This home is listed by Nancy Robinson of Century 21 Curran & Oberski.
