Beignet Truck 

It's hard to leave Eastern Market without grabbing one of these delicious French pastries. And what other food truck in Detroit is going to have a beignet? None! That's why this is one of our favs.

Cheese Dream

Cheese Dream is the best way to make you feel like you’re a kid again. Gourmet grilled cheese and homemade soup is the perfect combination to bring back the nostalgia.

Chicken Coupe 

Nothing is better than chicken and waffles. The chicken coupe serves up mouth watering fried chicken with puffy belgian waffles. They even have fried chicken in a waffle cone!

Concrete Cuisine 

This is your basic food truck fare but elevated to the next level. They have “frickles”, which are basically lightly-breaded pickle spears served with Buffalo Ranch dipping sauce, plus tons of delicious sandwiches.

Delectabowl 

Everything is better in a bowl, right? Delectabowl takes your favorite dishes and serves them in a delicious and convenient bowl. Try their Gyro Bowl served with warm pita bread.

Drifter Coffee

This cute little coffee shop is on wheels and we absolutely love it. Not only do they serve a mean cup of joe, but they also have teas and hot chocolates. You will mostly see the truck in Detroit, but they travel all throughout metro Detroit as well.

Detroit 75 Kitchen

Detroit 75 is bringing delicious street food to the food truck market. They have great shawarma sandwiches and amazing hand cut fries. All of their food is named after infamous Detroit highways and streets, too.

Tacos El Rodeo 

There are a lot of reasons to love El Rodeo — the cook who you can hear singing in the truck from 50 feet away, the rodeo graphic, the marinated red onion and hot pepper mix — but the best part is that they sell good fish and shrimp tacos, which are a rarity in Detroit.

El Veloz Tacos 

Veloz hangs a little off the beaten path in the parking lot of a nondescript commercial building on Toledo just east of Livernois. It's unique in that you place your order at the window, then go sit down in a small room in the building where you can grab horchata while you wait. Veloz's best taco is the asada — griddle-crisped shards of salty steak come wrapped in a warm corn tortilla that's served under a small mound of cilantro and diced red onions.

Frackin Hungry

Besides having the food truck with the coolest name ever, Frackin Hungry also serves up some delicious food. The corned beef stack is pilled high and the chicken tornado looks exactly like how it sounds.

Go Cheez

C'mon, there is nothing better than a food truck that strictly caters to cheese lovers. You can find this cheesy food truck all throughout metro Detroit, which is a very, very good thing.

Hero or Villain

Hero or Villain is Detroit's deli sandwich food truck with an inclusive menu offering meat, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Plus, it's just really fun that it was a superhero theme.

The Detroit-based food truck serves mac n cheese creations and french fries with personality, meaning take what you ate most days as a kid and up the 'yum factor' by like a million.

The Meanie Weenie

Another food truck with a hilarious name, except this one is serving up yummy hot dogs. The folks inside the truck have tons of different hot dogs with a variety of toppings to make the perfect dog.

Norma G's/Demitart Gourmet 

Nevermind the snow in this photo, this food is HOT HOT HOT! There’s no other place where you will find comfort Caribbean food (on wheels at least), and they have a wide variety of sliders, including some curry chicken ones you'd be a fool not to find.

Rogue Estate BBQ 

Genuine BBQ with absolutely no shortcuts. Pulled pork sandwiches and melt in your mouth brisket. This truck is always located in Ferndale on Woodward Heights (almost in Pleasant Ridge) and is open almost all the time. Nothing better!

Salt & Sugar Co.

The Salt & Sugar food truck is one of the only food trucks serving up a yummy sweet side, too. There flourless lava cookies are to die for.
